Details: The Temporary Campus will serve the university until the main campus will be built. At the Temporary Faculty compound there is an existing stone building on a plot of about 10.5 dunam that was built in the early 20th century and was used as a hospital and now is being renovated and converted to study halls and laboratories. In addition to that, 5000 square meters ( with two large classrooms, auditorium, cafeteria and research labs) will be added to the existing building, which also contains rooms, a library and an administration area of about 1750 square meters. The laboratories will be equipped with the most advanced modern equipment for the benefit researchers and students. In addition, five new buildings will be built and will contain research laboratories and animal house designed by Zadok Sherman. Together with the main building they will form the temporary campus, which retains the existing character of local stone facades in Tzfat
